CDW: (Collision Damage Waiver) |

Alamo provides you, the renter and authorized drivers with a way to minimize or eliminate your responsibility for loss or damage to the rental vehicle through the purchase of Collision Damage Waiver (CDW). CDW is NOT insurance. It is a waiver of Alamo's right to collect from the renter or authorized driver for the loss or damage to the rental vehicle. Maxi Waiver Saver -Alamo waives the renter's and authorized driver(s) responsibility for loss or damage to the rental vehicle up to the full value of the vehicle including administrative and loss of use fees.
CDW does not cover unauthorized drivers and is void if the Renter or Authorized Driver(s) engage in any of the Prohibited Uses and Violations as described in the Terms and Conditions. See the Terms and Conditions for additional Exclusions. |

Extended Protection (EP) is an optional insurance protection offered at company owned locations. If EP is selected and paid for, Alamo provides you (renter) and authorized drivers with third party liability protection in an amount equal to the minimum financial responsibility limits applicable to the vehicle (the Primary Protection). EP also provides third party liability protection, through an excess liability policy, with limits of the difference between the Primary Protection and a combined single limit of $1million per accident for bodily injury, death and/or property damage to others arising out of the use or operation of the Alamo rental vehicle by you (renter) or an authorized driver, subject to the terms and conditions of the policy. EP also provides Uninsured and Underinsured Motorist (collectively UM/UIM) for bodily injury and property damage, for the difference between the statutory minimum underlying limits and $100,000 (or state mandated UM/UIM limits, whichever is greater) to you (renter) and any family member related by blood, marriage or adoption, who while occupying the Alamo rental car sustained bodily injury or death caused by a negligent uninsured/underinsured motorist EP does not include any additional UM/UIM coverage above $100,000 (unless mandated by law). Note: Any UM/UIM benefits paid are included in the $1million combined single limit EP coverage and in no way increases the combined single limit referenced above. |

VLF: (Concession Recoupment Fees) |

At some locations, Alamo has elected to impose "recovery fees" to recover or recoup all or a portion of its expenses related to a type of overhead. At certain airport locations where Alamo is an on-airport concessionaire, Alamo has elected to impose a charge, often referred to as a Concession Recoupment Fee or Concession Recovery Fee, to recover all or a portion of the concession fees which it is obligated to pay to the airport. Further, many airports impose a fee on revenue from off-airport rental car transactions (typically when the customer exits the airport using the off-airport company's shuttle bus) at locations where Alamo is an off-airport concessionaire; Alamo elects to impose a charge to recover all or a portion of this fee from customers. This fee, which varies by airport, will appear separately in the charges section of the rental agreement as Airport Fee, or the like. |

KEY REPLACEMENT Lost keys? No worries, we will send replacement keys or a locksmith.

GLASS REPLACEMENT If the glass is damaged through no fault of your own, we will replace the glass.

FLAT TIRE If the vehicle's spare tire is inflated and serviceable, it will be installed to replace a flat tire.
If no inflated spare is available, the vehicle will be towed in accordance with the towing provision.

TIRE REPLACEMENT If the vehicle's tire is damaged, the tire will be repaired or replaced at no additional charge.

TOWING Towing charges will be covered at no additional cost should the vehicle be inoperable.

JUMP START A battery boost will be provided in an attempt to start the vehicle.

Personal Accident Insurance / Personal Effects Coverage (PAI/PEC) |

Perspro is an optional product that is offered by most of Alamo locations. The purchase of Carefree Personal Protection is entirely optional; you are not required to purchase it in order to rent a vehicle. Perspro may duplicate a renter's personal insurance but it will pay primary to any other insurance that the renter may carry.
The purchase of optional Carefree Personal Protection provides the renter with Weekly Accident Indemnity (WAI) while the renter is in, boarding or alighting the rental vehicle. It also provides the renter and passengers with Accidental Medical Expense (AME), Emergency Medical Evacuation (EME) , Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D), Repatriation of Remains (ROR), Personal Effects (PEC) and Travel Assistance (TAP). All coverages are subject to the terms, conditions, exclusions and limitations as described in the policy. TAP is provided by American International Assistance Services, Inc. and the accident policies are underwritten by National Union Fire Insurance Company of Pittsburgh, PA.
